Tri-County Animal Shelter
The shelter needs of Calvert, Charles and St. Mary’s Counties are provided by the government-run Tri-County Animal Shelter. Lost and stray animals are housed as they wait to be claimed by their owners or adopted to new owners. Tidewater Veterinary Hospital gives back to the community by supporting the services and products for community residents to adopt a new friend from the Tri-County Animal Shelter at low cost!
Second Hope Rescue
A group of animal-loving friends joined together to commit to giving a “Second Hope” to hard-to-place animals,due to breed or age, that are searching for their forever homes. Collectively with over 20 years of rescue experience, this group works with other rescues and on their own.

Adopt a Boxer Rescue
Adopt A Boxer Rescue is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) charitable organization formed to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home unwanted and abandoned boxer dogs. We work within Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, northern Virginia, Washington DC and Rhode Island.
