Client-Care Coordinators
Lori
Lori joined the TVH crew in 2008. She has had all kinds of animals throughout her life. And, at this time, she is owned by five Borzoi. She competes with the Borzoi at conformation shows, lure coursing, straight racing, oval racing, barn hunts, and is adding obedience and agility to the list. She and her husband moved to Southern Maryland in 1999, and have one married daughter in Texas and one married son in San Diego.
Leigh
Leigh joined our team in 2014 after retiring from the public schools. She and her husband moved to Southern Maryland after he retired from the Navy to work for an airline. They have two children. Their daughter lives in St. Thomas, and their son, his wife and two daughters live in Hollywood, MD. Leigh has all sorts of animals. Currently, she has three horses, two dogs, and eight cats. In her free time, she enjoys riding her horses, water sports, gardening, sewing, but most of all, spending time with family and friends.
Tina
Tina joined the TVH family in July 2019. She began working in the veterinary field in 2015, after changing careers and freeing herself from the beltway commute. A true Southern Maryland girl, her love for animals came from growing up on a small family farm. During her free time, Tina likes boating and fishing with her husband.
Lisa
Lisa joined the Tidewater family in August of 2019 because of her love for animals. She has owned dogs, cats, guinea pigs and birds, as well as fostered several litters of puppies for a local rescue. Prior to raising her two daughters, Kelsey and Haley, Lisa worked in insurance claims, earned an Associate’s Degree in Paralegal Studies, and was employed as a legal secretary for a law firm. In her spare time, Lisa enjoys cooking, genealogy research, reading and spending time with her daughters, her and dog and her kitties.
Anne
Anne started at Tidewater in March 2020 because she enjoys working with both animals and people. As a child she always wanted to be a Veterinarian and she has had a variety of animals throughout her life. Anne enjoys gardening, camping and spending time with family; her three sons and four grandchildren. She likes to spend her downtime with her husband and three black Labradors.
Marty
Marty joined the staff at Tidewater Veterinary Hospital in Nov 2020. Her heart’s passion is for wildlife rehabilitation. Currently Marty keeps a husband, adult children, a cat, dogs, ducks and chickens at home.
Kate
Kate joined the Tidewater team in 2021. She is excited to work with people that share her lifelong love of animals. Kate enjoys reading, writing, and creating all types of art. Her childhood pets have included dogs, gerbils, and hamsters. One day she hopes to have a chinchilla. She enjoys spending time with friends and family, especially if they also have cute animals.
Mac
Mac joined the Tidewater Team in August 2020 seeking a change of pace in a less routine, repetitive environment. She had always wanted to have a career in animal care. As a kid she volunteered at farms and nature centers. Along with her rescue work, she has worked at Petco, various boarding/daycare facilities and was in grooming for 3 years. Her down time is spent with friends, her fiancé. Mac enjoys listening to music, reading, being outdoors near the water and mountains. She currently has 2 cats, Bamboo and Tulip, but one day plans to have multiple dogs.
Karin
Karin joined our Tidewater Team in May of 2023 after a move to Southern Maryland. She came on board for an opportunity to serve our clients with a love for animals and a strong administrative background. Karin has over 30 years of experience in the medical field. In her spare time Karin loves to travel, attend festivals and spoil her cat, Alloa.
Tonda
Tonda joined the Tidewater Client Care Coordinator Team in July of 2023. She has always been an avid animal lover and advocate. As a proud “Dog Mom”, she spends most of her free time caring for her many furbabies. Tonda loves meeting new animal friends and feels fortunate to be able to help others care for their pets.
Selina
Selina became part of the TVH team in August of 2023. She is a West Coast native that has been permanently transplanted in Southern Maryland. Selina has a degree in office and business technology and her hobbies include decorating custom sugar cookies, paddle boarding, and decorating her home seasonally. Selina is the mother of 3 human children, 3 canine children, and 1 feline… all of which keep her very busy.
Cathy
Cathy joined the Client Care Coordinator team in August 2023 to enjoy opportunities to help people and their pets. While raising her children, she also worked as a Government Travel Consultant. Throughout her life, she has shown horses and enjoyed her dogs, cats and fish. Currently Cathy enjoys spending time with her 2 grown children and her dog, cat, bearded dragon and fish. Her favorite pastime is learning about her faith and teaching the faith to wonderful 1st grade children.
Rai
Rai joined the Tidewater Team in August 2023 after working retail for 5 years. From a young age she has always loved animals. From cats, dogs and fish to reptiles, animals have always been a part of her life. Working at Tidewater has been a great change of pace. In her down time, Rai loves gaming, listening to music, traveling and spending time with her 2 dogs.
