History
Presently owned by Drs. Michael Parks and Chris Runde, Tidewater Veterinary Hospital was founded in 1958 by Drs. Henry Virts and Clarence Little to provide healthcare to all creatures large and small in the Tidewater area. Through the years the hospital has grown and expanded its services, but still provides the same personal touch that made it special in 1958. We are located on Route 5 south in Charlotte Hall, across from the McDonald's.

Hospital hours
Monday - Friday, 9 am - 7 pm
Saturday, 9 am - 12 pm; Closed Sunday
Appointments available for routine services
Monday - Friday, 12 pm - 2 pm,
and 5 pm - 7 pm
Saturday, 10 am to 12 pm
Farm calls by appointment only.
Surgery information
We perform routine surgery Monday through Friday by appointment. Please drop off surgery patients between 9 - 9:30 am.
